Now in its third generation, the company Abel Metallsysteme in Geisa is headed by 50-year-old Klaus Peter Abel, who has been successfully developing it from a purely handicraft business to a generator of ideas, pioneer and producer of individual fall protection devices and balustrade systems. With over 100 employees, the latest technology, a consistent target group focus as well as patents and market innovations, Abel Metallsysteme has developed across Europe over the last ten years to become a dedicated partner for architects, construction companies and customers in the window and metal construction sector. This year the company celebrates its 100-year anniversary and looks back proudly on its tradition of craftsmanship and innovative strength.

Abel Metallsysteme has received multiple awards for this successful development in recent years, for example the strategy prize for the Wartburg region and the “Architects’ Darling Award 2018” given by Heinze GmbH in the category “Best Product Innovation - Development”.
